At least my blog has a christmas tree…

As much as I immensely enjoy the “look and feel” of christmas, we decided, once again, not to decorate as we plan to celebrate the holidays with my in-laws. I am truly fine with that except that it just feels really weird seeing the neighbors coming in late with their freshly picked pine trees ready to greet the season. I have been bugging hubby labs to even just put up our own parol (Christmas lantern) whenever I see the one that the family that lived two doors down from us had on their window.
I couldn’t really feel the holidays being so close yet as I have yet to attack gazillion more papers to write in the next couple weeks. With my on again-off again flu/colds and minimal talent to attend to multiple things at the same time, one can see how it can be very challenging to expect me to be in a festive mood.
Now, if someone will send some bibingka and puto bungbong, inspiration may arrive sooner and help me get my work done. Music and colorful lights aren’t cutting it for me.
In the meantime, this christmas tree will do.
