yes indeed.
i celebrated this weekend quietly. all i really wanted was to go have my chickenjoy from Jollibee and go window shop in Ikea. i could have had the entire weekend celebrating but with all these deadlines to meet, and announcing to the whole world that i am officially 3-0 was not exactly appealing.
to someone who feels more comfortable giving, it was humbling to be spend the day accepting warm thoughts from family, friends, former/present students and colleagues. i couldn’t help but gaze at the skies while walking towards my classroom and just feel how wonderful it was to be reminded of being gifted a life to experience God’s fullness of grace. Yes indeed, my Savior’s grace is sufficient all to itself. As if He was not clear enough, He even made sure He allowed some sunshine today for me to totally be in the spirit of gratitude (yep, after a full week or so of nothing but thunder, wind and rain!)
it also helped that i got especially spoiled from hubby labs who catered to all my whims and desires and gave me the best birthday weekend ever! he knows exactly how to make me melt.
so to all who sent their wishes (via all media) or even whispered a prayer, or just gave a shoutout, thank you for gifting my life with your love and presence!
