spring is almost here!

out with the old, in with the new. yep, we finally were able to hold a successful garage sale! hubby labs and i woke up before daybreak and got our gizmos ready. at a little past seven, i started getting nervous. what if no one shows up? i mean, we didn’t advertise in the paper, we posted our signs all over the neigborhood friday late afternoon, what if this is all an effort in vain? however, as soon as the suns rays hit the edges of the sunglasses, cars started flooding in front of our house. all armored with cash in hand, families flocked in and started checking out our merchandise.

two dol-ah? no, fiv dol-ah. c’mon, two dol-ah okey?
by the time eleven rolled in, our tables were cleared. stuff that i thought we would not even able to sell, got sold! as much as new garbage look very tempting, hubby labs and i decided to use the funds wisely. for a time before we were at a dead end as to how we were going to ship books we have collected the last couple months. sponsorship was low, and we are in a tight budget as well. i just love how He shows up for us in unexpected ways. so we did treat ourselves some pizza for a job well done, but the funds we raised will be used to ship the remaining books that we are currently warehousing in our garage.
boy, cleaning up house feels good!
II Cor. 9:7 God loves a cheerful giver.
